1. Monthly tuition & billing

Flat-rate system

Tuition is a flat $140 per month, paid in advance on the 1st of each month.

What is covered

This flat rate guarantees your dedicated weekly 30-minute time slot on the schedule.

The 5th-week “Bonus Holiday”

Tuition is calculated on a 4-week month. In months that contain a 5th week, the studio is closed for a Bonus Holiday week. No lessons are held, and tuition stays exactly the same. Enjoy the week off to practice!

2. Attendance & cancellations

Student absences

Because tuition secures a specific, permanent time slot, no refunds or credits are given for lessons missed by the student.

Notice requirement

If you must miss a lesson, please give 24 hours’ notice. With notice, I will do my best to offer a digital makeup video or reschedule your lesson, though makeups are not guaranteed.

Teacher absences

If I must cancel a lesson due to illness or an emergency, I will provide a makeup credit, reschedule the lesson, or refund that specific class.

3. Materials & practice

Instruments

Students must have a working, tuned instrument at home for daily practice (piano/keyboard, guitar or ukulele).

Music books

Students are responsible for purchasing the method books or theory materials I recommend based on their goals.

4. Online lesson requirements (if applicable)

Students choosing online lessons need a reliable internet connection, a quiet space free of distractions, and a device positioned so I can clearly see their hands and instrument.
